Robin's Nest is a gorgeous custom made cabin and is the perfect base for exploring the Peak District's stunning countryside Surrounded by acres of land with amazing and far reaching views.
Robin's Nest is one of 3 cabins that are located in a private field with superb far reaching views of the Peak District, which can be enjoyed from your bedroom window or sipping a drink on the sofa.
Hot Tub Notes This is an optional extra. You can stay at Robin’s without taking the optional extra of the hot tub. The price includes all the wood, kindling, fire lighters, 2 robes and 2 extra large towels. We recommend you bring suitable footwear for around the hot tub area. £60.00 - 1 night £75.00 - 2 nights £90.00 - 3 nights It is an eco wood wired hot tub which is available for use. It does take about 20 minutes to fill and about 2 hours to heat with the wood we provide. If we can, we will endeavour to fill the hot tub before you arrive. The heating of the hot tub to guests is down to the guest for when they arrive or when they are ready to use it. We do ask that you fully read the instructions and safety information before using it. These are clearly displayed near the hot tub. If for any reason these are not displayed, please do let me know and I will make sure that you get a copy of these. If it is not filled when you arrive, please make sure you have read the instructions before filling the tub. We ask the hot tub not to be used if it is lightening or by solo users, whilst intoxicated, under the age of 18.If yourself or anyone using the hot tub has a medical condition, please ensure that you are medically fit to use the hot tub and that use of the hot tub will not exacerbate the current medical condition. Correct bathing attire must be worn at all times and nude bathing is strictly forbidden. We use a small amount of chlorine in the water as good practise. Please do not use the hot tub if you have any health or medical issue which may react to chlorine. HOT TUB SAFETY NOTES Please with heart disease, high or low blood pressure, any serious illness or who are pregnant should not use the hot tub without consulting their doctor first. People with skin, ear genital or other body infections should not use the hot tub to avoid spreading infection. Children (under age 16) are not permitted to use the hot tub
Be aware that the heat of the water can speed up the effects of alcohol. Do not immerse your head in the water as it increases the risk of infection (and you could drown) Do not use electrical appliances near the water to avoid electric shocks Do not use any contaminants such as bubble bath, oils etc in the water. The flue is protected by a guard and you should not make any attempt to touch the guard or flue whilst the burner is lit. The heater door may also be hot and should be opened using the fire gloves. Never allow the water temperature to go over 40 degrees. Do not use the hot tub after a heavy meal or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or sedatives. We have zero drug policy. Any users found in the possession of drugs or attempting to consume drugs will be asked to leave the hot tub premises immediately. No refund will be given and the police will be notified. In the event of a fire, use the fire extinguisher but only if safe to do so. Phone 999 and direct them to your accommodation, Brosterfield Farm and make sure you make your way to safe place. Do not use in the event of thunder, lightening or severe, windy weather. Use the fire gloves at all times when operating the stove or putting logs into the stove. Do not cover the hot tub or stove area with the umbrella or any other covering No solo bathing USE THE GRIT FROM THE GRIT BIN TO AVOID SLIPPING AROUND THE HOT TUB AND ON THE STEPS IF NEEDED ENSURE THE STOVE DOOR IS SECURELY KEPT SHUT AT ALL TIMES
Each cabin has an outdoor sitting area to take advantage of the views with deck chairs and umbrellas and rattan couple furniture with bistro table. Parking is at the base of the field, so as to not disturb the quietness and wildlife. Each cabin is just a few steps to their front door.

We advise to bring suitable footwear if you are using the hot tub. Cooking and Dining Microwave Double hob Fridge/freezer box Pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery 1 x Cafetiere Kettle Toaster House Rules Standard check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am Please remove dirty or high heeled shoes on entry. Please do not bring candles, tea lights or incense sticks as they are not allowed at the property No fireworks or Chinese lanterns are allowed No smoking or vaping inside the property. Vaping can trigger the fire alarms No outdoor music We ask that any outside socialising be brought inside by 10pm. We kindly ask that neighbours or local residents are not disturbed after this time. Not suitable for Hen and Stag Groups No glitter please as even the most eco friendly kind is impossible to remove from the soft furnishings and hard wearing floors Parking We allow 1 for Robin’s Nest but if you need more, please drop a request over. For reasons of both safety and property insurance, under no circumstances should you use the domestic plug sockets in the property to charge an electric vehicle. Our domestic supply in the property does not have the capacity or set up to support EV charging. Upon prior request, we can allow a car to charge using our EV charging point. This is chargeable per kwh and must be agreed and paid for in advance. Outdoor Space The cabins are situated in a large, open, private field. Robins is situated at the top of the field and the hot tub is on the top side of the cabin. Each cabin has their own area for sitting out. Lockable bike storage - available on request and must be requested prior to your stay to make sure we can facilitate this request and to be used at your own risk. We do advise to make sure your bikes are covered under your own house insurance for personal belongings, personal effects and household contents. We are not liable for any theft of bikes stored with us or any damage. Property Notes The property is on a communal site so please be aware of the other cottages vehicles arriving and departing the site. The owners dogs do live on site and sometimes they have a potter around the farm. If you have any nervous guests or doggie guests, we request that you let us know in advance. The property is not a working farm but is located in a working farm village so you may experience seasonal smells, sights and sounds. The local farmer, farms our land, occasionally there maybe a tractor on site for a short time.Dogs We allow up to 2 dogs in this property and charge £10 per dog for the duration of their stay We do ask that they are kept off all furniture Please clear any dog litter from the grounds or grassed areas around the farm Dogs must be kept under control at all times and especially if there is livestock in the fields nearby Please do not leave dogs unattended in the property or outside at any timeWi-Fi Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and we have Fibre to the Property. However, as with any technical, there may be times when the signal may not be as it should, which is beyond our control. We also hope you appreciate that we cannot guarantee Wi-Fi if there are technical issues in the area
Located in a private field within the grounds of Brosterfield Farm. There are 3 beautifully hand crafted cabins which occupy a lovely space with stunning views over dramatic countryside.
We are the perfect base for Chatsworth, Castleton, Buxton, Monsal Trail, Bakewell and much, much more - please see our main menu for a full list of many of the visitor attractions. The Bulls Head Pub which serves excellent food is a few mins walk. The Spar at Calver is a short drive and houses some of the best local produce from the local in-house butchers with locally reared cattle, local bakery selling delicious breads and cakes, local wine merchant and fabulous deli produce. Wonderful walks from the door to Eyam, Wardlow, Great Hucklow, Stoney Middleton and beyond. Picturesque local villages include Eyam, Bakewell (famous for the Bakewell Pudding) and Ashford-in-the-Water, Tideswell, Castleton (famous for the rare Blue John Stone) Harrington (famous for fabulous cheeses) Historic houses to see:- Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and Hardwick Hall.
Brosterfield Farm is located just on the edge of Foolow Village, which has a fabulous local pub called The Bulls Head. This is only a few minutes walk from Brosterfield, perfect for a stroll down the lane to experience a good local pint and excellent food with an equally excellent reputation.
